This is the kind of thing that the world needs to be working to prevent. Those that join ISIS are 100% delusional that ISIS is going to be on the right side of history, and these poor girls are just the latest victims.
Sadly, these two girls discovered too late just how deluded they were about ISIS.
Samra Kesinovic, 17, and her friend Sabina Selimovic, 15 became “poster girls” in ISIS propaganda machine when they snuck away from their homes in Vienna, Austria to become brides for terrorists. Less than two year later, they are both dead.
Disturbingly, the teens were used as sex slaves for new jihadist soldiers, according to reports. Kesinovic was beaten to death with a hammer as she tried to escape.
A Tunisian woman managed escape told Austrian newspaper, Kronen Zeitung, that she lived with the girls for a time and they were used as sex slaves for new jihadist soldiers. Kesinovic’s escape attempt, and the deadly repercussions are evidence thestory woven to entrap the girls was completely false and ISIS truly is evil.
They left their Bosnian parents a note saying ““Don’t look for us. We will serve Allah and we will die for him.” At first they seemed happy based on photos of them in burkas and carrying AK-47s that appeared on ISIS websites and their social media accounts. But by August of last year there were reports they were pregnant and Kexinovic wanted to return home. By that time returning home was not an option.
Austrian authorities said the happy messages about the joys of serving the caliphate with smiling pictured posted on their social media accounts were probably false. “It is clear that whoever is operating their pages it probably is not the girls and that they are being used for propaganda,” said one Austrian security official.
Early in 2015 the United Nations revealed they believed Selimovic was killed during a fight in Syria. Kexinovic survived until she was beat to death after attempting to escape. Kexinovic was caught trying to slip out of Raqqa, the de facto capitol, reports say.
