Charismatic mega Church prosperity teacher Joel Osteen brands the US President as «A good Christian, who is doing a good job in a difficult time.

These questions came to mind while watching Joel Osteen and his lovely wife, Victoria, on CNN’s “Larry King Live” last week. King pointed out that many Americans are still confused about Obama’s religion and asked, «Does it matter?»
«Well, it matters to me,« said Osteen. «It matters to me that I know he loves the Lord, and I think it’s important that he has convictions from his faith. So to me, it matters when I’m making my personal decisions».
Mrs. Osteen weighed in, too: «It does. It matters to me. … I believe he is a Christian».

My comment:
The Holy Spirit shall leads us into the truth, and all the truth. Joel Osteen is one of the leading global preachers of the false Prosperity Gospel. He can be seen on God TV, and on other prominent claimed to be Christian TV-stations.
This comment by the American preacher and his wife, makes me more sure about what I already knew. That both Obama and Joel Osteen is serving the same Lord. But it is not God of Bible, and His Messiah.
How can i be so blunt with Obama?
Well in Cairo, Obama spoke about «The Holy Koran», and branded Islam as a peaceful religion.
When Jesus walked on Earth, there was neither Muslims, nor a book called the Koran. The Koran is full of errors. It has deleted the Covenant people, the offspring of Isaac and Jacob. In Islam, there in not place for Jews, nor Christians who claims to have been saved by a Son of King David, the Jewish Messiah Jesus of Nazareth.
If Joel Osteen was a Christian, The Holy Spirit would have told him to expose men like Obama.

I've never seen such a phony in my life! And his wife is no different. They are both so out of touch with reality, it amazes me he still has the followers that he does.

ReplyDeleteJoel Osteen said this about Obama 5 years ago, during Obama's first few months in office (if you look at the top of the page it clearly states the date Wed April 8, 2009), this was before all of Obama's tragic failures started happening... I am sure Joel would have a different opinion today. I just don't understand why people are attacking Joel Osteen. He is a man who built an amazing following to his church and his main objective is to preach the teachings of Jesus Christ, and instill courage and faith in people. He does not preach hate or racism like the "Reverend" Jessie Jackson or the other race divider "Reverend" Al Sharpton....These two are the evil ones with their fake smiles and fake "titles" They do not encourage their "followers" to do good in their lives, they encourage them to loot and riot!!!!! And btw, what is wrong with Joel living in a nice home? He worked for it. I am sure Jackson and Sharpton have nice big homes also. They worked for it too but not in a good way, but by demonizing white people and stirring up animosity and hate amongst blacks towards whites...Let's stick to persecuting the real bad guys.

I, too, went to look up the timing. What I saw on this site is that this group HATES Joel Osteen & they will reach as far back as five yrs ago to slam a man. But, what does the Lord say about speaking evil of one another & how we are to treat the Brethren. It is a disgrace for a brother to treat another brother like this & then call it latest news. Therefore, you use the truth according to you to injure a brother & you will be accountable for that. Mercy on you.

DeleteHas olsteen recanted his observations? If not, then the date of the statement is irrelevant. He still believes this way. I am not a follower, and I know he has made millions off his brand of preaching, but that doesn't make it right. Something isn't quite right about this guy, and it should be obvious if he thinks obama is doing a good job, regardless of when he said it.

Joel Olsteen is not a Christian. He is a false prophet. When asked by Larry King Live do you believe in God. Joel Olsteen could not give a direct answer. If one knows the Lord and serves the Lord then one should be able to publically profess that they believe in God and Jesus. He is a prosperity teacher who teaches contrary to the THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. If he (JOEL OLSTEEN) likes Obama and is doing a good job is a liar. This country in its present self is in chaos. So, how is that a good job? Obama has done nothing good for this country other than destroy and defame the United States of America. And about Islam it is evident that this religion is not a religion of peace it has no room for Jews or Christians. It denies that Jesus is Lord of ALL, Actions taken by muslims prove that they are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites and liars. They want a religious law to supercede the constitution of the United States which does not recognize Sharia Law. It is founded on Christian Morals and Values. Islam and the muslims are haters not lovers of the Lord the evidence is in their actions all around the world. Having read the quran there is nothing but confusion and hypocrisy. There are alot of statements and claims made by Muhammad that are unsubstantiated and cannot be proven. The religion is nothing but a laughable hoax. I know that God always shows me the way to go and without having to take violent actions. God has always helped me resolve any confusion that I have ever had and was able to evidence it by TRUTH. He has never lied to me or asked me to do anything that would bring about division, hate, and violent killings. God does not preach to me and does not provide me with misinformation and teachings of man. God gives me everything that I need and has shown me how to be self-sufficient. God does not ask me for money nor does he ask me to put up a front with a fakeness that is deceiving. I don't have to follow mega churches or theology of man. I follow Jesus and God without all the Hollywood productions that are put up in churches today and call it "praise and worship". Praise and worship are done with a passion to hear God and Hear Jesus in all of their ways. Its time to tell the TRUTH and quit all the lying and all the deceit that both islam and mega churches and churches teach. All you need is Jesus and God. It's that simple. God will wake up Joel Olsteen and his wife to a Truth that will offend them and cause them to realize that they were off base. Jesus will ask The Olsteens to repent of their false ways and grant them eternal love and security if they profess and repent of their false teachings. The Holy Spirit will break the Olsteens and lead them into God's TRUTH and only if they are willing to apologize and repent their misleading others into a false reality and deception. They are only interested in your wallets and what they can get out of you. God doesn't do that. God gives us a precious free gift of eternal life so long as we profess that God is God and Jesus is Lord of ALL. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess is what God says. Wake up and hear the call of warning that there is falsehood in this world and there is a need to know that God's judgment is upon US ALL.

I would like to hear the whole interview of last week, to hear the context of Joel's comments--if this interview in fact took place last week, that is, years after Mr. Obama's true colors have come out.
For you have realized by now that seemingly, after the broadcast of this your post has spread through the web & FB, THOUSANDS, if not not exponentially more, assume that the interview took place last week, that is, roughly in the middle of October 2014. I am persuaded (though I do not have the proof of this at the moment) that you meant to say “the interview THAT I CAME TO SEE LAST WEEK”, rather than “the interview of LAST WEEK”. If the latter is the grammatical meaning—which I hope it is NOT--then, a “Correction” is due.
A handful of folks who have commented here seem to believe that this interview is actually of years ago. I , myself, have written to CNN asking for them to provide the link to the video of the interview of last week or so. They replied that they are unable to reply to individual messages.
IF ANY OF YOU READING THIS knows the link to last week's interview, please let me know. Or, you may let me know what efforts you put into finding it.

I certainly don't like what Joel Olsteen said but, reading most of the replys I don't like what they say either. Most of them sound more hate filled, angry, and ugly.....really is this what Jesus taught us to be like. We can stand up for our beliefs and teach what it right without all of the rudeness and name calling. Honesty without love is brutality. Those who are anti-christian point to that behavior as the way all Christian's behave and site it as reason to hate us all. Act like Jesus, speak like Jesus. Don't speak like Satan and claim you are speaking for Christians.
