Almost four weeks into this 40 Days for Life campaign, God has greatly blessed many people! So far, we have reports of 311 babies saved from abortion (that we know of) … all across the world!

“Wow!” said Adri in Paarl. “We are astounded at God’s faithfulness! We had an amazing campaign thus far and God saved three unborn babies’ lives. All glory to Him!”
One woman came to speak to the prayer volunteers, telling them she had come to realize that abortion was not the right thing to do.
Another woman, who already had two children, was considering aborting her third – and her husband had agreed. Volunteers showed her models of what her baby would look like at her current stage of pregnancy … and explained what happens during an abortion. After hearing that, she said, “I can’t have an abortion!”
“We are very fortunate,” Adri said, “because we are standing at an intersection outside a public hospital where free abortions are performed.” Many people pass by that location every day. “We really stand in faith and trust that God WILL bring an end to abortion in South Africa!”

Lynda said two volunteers were praying outside Planned Parenthood when a woman in her 30s came out to smoke a cigarette. She and her boyfriend repeatedly stared at the sign one of the vigil participants was holding. It simply said “choose life.”
They went back inside … but came back out just a few minutes later and waited for a friend to pick them up. When the friend arrived, the three of them stood outside the car and talked for quite a while.
The volunteers then realized they were crying. They looked at the “choose life” sign one more time … then got into the car and drove away. The woman smiled at the volunteers as they left the lot.

A young woman arrived for an abortion appointment at Planned Parenthood. But when she saw people praying, she stopped at the gate. She was met there by one of the counselors, who encouraged her to visit a pro-life pregnancy help center instead of the abortion facility – a place that offered her something Planned Parenthood did not: hope!

“Sometimes the hope of Christ comes alive in the form of a stranger praying at a sidewalk,” said one of the Kalamazoo volunteers. “Hope is not lost. It is alive in YOU!”
