John 7:7, “The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”
Multitudes of people these days have the warped notion that Jesus was a pacifist Who never spoke out against sin; but John 7:7 plainly teaches that Jesus TESTIFIED OF THE WORLD THAT ITS WORKS ARE EVIL. Jesus spoke out against sin, He hated it. We read in the New Testament...
Hebrews 1:8-10, “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, AND HATED INIQUITY; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands.”
Jesus hated iniquity. The word “iniquity” here is the Greek word anomia and means “wickedness.” Jesus hated wickedness. Today, evil men have taught young people to say “wicked cool,” which is nothing less than a total mockery of God and the Bible. it is so disrespectful toward God to use that term. There is NOTHING cool about committing wickedness. Jesus hated iniquity and testified against the world, saying that their works are EVIL!!!Source: http://www.soulwinning.info/bd/jesus_hates_sin.htm
If Jesus were upon the earth today in the flesh, He would preach against the evils of abortion, homosexuality, divorce, drunkenness, bearing false witness, covetousness, idolatry, and all of the other horrible sins in our culture today. Jesus would speak out against the Federal Reserve Banksters looting our economy for tens-of-trillions of dollars. Jesus would speak out against “SIN CITY” Las Vegas for luring sinners to come there to commit wickedness under the pretense of privacy. I assure you that “What HAPPENS in Vegas is RECORDED in Heaven!” Your sins do NOT STAY in Vegas.
The Old Testament tells us in Proverb 6:16-19, “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” Here we learn that the Lord HATES these seven things: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord amongst brethren. Jesus hates these things!!!
“The Lord” in the Old Testament is Jesus. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 43:11 that Jesus is the only Savior, He is THE LORD, “I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.” If the Lord is the ONLY Saviour, than it absolutely can only mean Jesus Christ, because here is what Acts 4:10-12 says, “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: forTHERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN, WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED.” Salvation is found only in Jesus name.
The Bible is very clear that Jesus hated iniquity. In John 2:1-15 we find Jesus turning violent in anger, over-tossing their money tables and driving them out of the temple with a whip made of cords. Jesus was angry because the Scribes and Pharisees had turned God's house into a business to make money, what the Bible calls, “a den of thieves.” There are dens of thieves all across America today in nearly every way, shape, and form.
Most people have a wrong perception of Jesus because they only hear what they want to hear from the Bible. It's called “selective hearing.” Sadly, the smallest Bible in the world is the one most people live. Jesus testified against the world for their sins. Jesus became angry when Christianity was exploited to make money.
Carefully notice that Jesus did NOT condemn the world for their sins (John 3:17); but rather, He simply testified against the world that their works are evil. Likewise, today, as Christian believers who love the Lord we do NOT condemn anyone for their sins; but rather, we testify against the world that they are doing evil in God's sight. I am simply taking God's side in every moral controversy. I do NOT condemn anyone, and neither did my Lord Jesus Christ. I am simply preaching the Bible. I am as narrow-minded as the Bible. I say that with happiness, for I am a child of the King. I believe what the Bible says, every single word of it. If you disagree with the Bible, I can tell you assuredly, you are wrong my friend.
You see, God's Law condemns all of us as being guilty sinners deserving of punishment in Hell (Romans 3:19; Romans 6:23). Jesus doesn't have to condemn anyone, for the wicked are already condemned. John 3:18, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” Jesus said that the world cannot hate us, because it is God who has made the moral laws by which men are to live. If you're mad at me for preaching against sin, then you're really mad at God Who Authored the Bible. If you don't like my website ministry, then you hate the Lord because I'm just echoing the moral teachings given to us by God in the Bible. I am only a voice crying in the wilderness of cyberspace... HEAR YE HIM!!!
There is NO condemnation to the righteous (Romans 8:1,34). Romans 8:34, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” The same precious Savior Who testified against the world for their evil works, came into the world for pay the price for their sins so that they could be saved. Jesus came into the world to SAVE SINNERS!
